ELAC

The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) was initiated to address the unique needs and challenges faced by English language learners (ELLs) within the education system. It was established to ensure that ELL students, who often encounter language barriers and cultural differences, receive equitable access to quality education. ELAC’s inception stems from the recognition that collaboration among parents, educators, and administrators is essential to creating effective support systems tailored to the specific requirements of ELLs. By promoting this collaboration, ELAC seeks to bridge the gap, promote inclusivity, and enhance the academic journey of ELL students, ultimately striving for equal educational opportunities and success for all. Attending ELAC meetings is crucial in honoring this foundational mission and commitment to the ELL community and our school. Please join us at our first meeting of the year on September 21, 2023.
